Mad Catz announced today ahead of CES 2016 that it’s the first company to join the Designed for Samsung (DFS) program, with plans to create game controllers and related accessories for gaming on Samsung devices.
Mad Catz says these new controllers will be apart of the company’s GameSmart products. Each controller created will feature a Designed for Samsung logo, indicating that the product will work seamlessly with Samsung smartphones and tablets.
While Mad Catz is one of the first company’s to join the Design for Samsung program, it’s not yet clear how Mad Catz’s game accessories will differ from, say, MOGA. We’ll no doubt hear more specific details as we get into CES 2016 and closer to an official launch date.
Mad Catz hasn’t yet provided any specific information on when we’ll see the first Design for Samsung products.
