More images of Huawei P9 leak ahead of April 6th launch

As we’ve seen with most of the recent smartphone launches in recent times, there really isn’t too much left to be revealed by Huawei at the April 6th launch of its P9 range of handsets. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t appreciate this latest batch of leaked images showing the P9 from just about every angle.

As reported by 9to5Google, these new images show off the P9’s dual camera setup, the fingerprint sensor below, and what is almost certainly a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device.

It’s expected that Huawei will unveil 3 P9 models of different sizes with varying levels of specifications. If the Oppomart leak a few days ago is correct, we can look forward to seeing the 5.2-inch P9, the 5-inch P9 Lite and the 6.2-inch P9 Max. While the P9 and P9 Max will purportedly be powered by Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 950 and 955 octa-core processors respectively, the lower-specced P9 Lite will use a Snapdragon 650. The P9 Lite will allegedly have 2GB of RAM, with the P9 boasting a standard 3GB of RAM and the monster P9 Max increased to 4GB if reports are correct.

All three P9 variants appear to carry a dual 12MP camera setup on the rear with dual-LED flash, the P9 and P9 Lite models both sport a 5MP front camera, while the higher-specced P9 Max is bumped up to a 8MP selfie camera.
