The Gear S2 will reportedly receive a new update next week that will finally bring with it the long-awaited support for iOS.
Samsung confirmed at CES 2016 in January that the Gear S2 would get support for iOS later this year, and it seems like that could be happening in a little over a week.
The Gear S2 runs on Samsung’s proprietary Tizen operating system, and because of this, the smartwatch has only been able to work with select Samsung devices.
There are currently not a whole lot of details on what this update will sport, aside from the rumored iOS support.
Hopefully we’ll hear more from Samsung in the next week or so.
