Paytm Postpaid is a new feature integrated in Paytm’s app which allows eligible users to take loan without paying interest (at least for now). This program is still in beta mode and only available for selected customers.
While surfing on internet, I saw many users complaining about Paytm postpaid as their accounts are on hold and that’s why decided to write this article to shade some light on this issue.
As you know, if you’re eligible for Paytm postpaid then based on your previous spendings, you are allotted some money which you can utilize and you can repay it before 15th of next month. The best part is that you don’t have to pay any interest on that amount and that’s why many people are interested in availing this offer.
If you’re getting an error like “your paytm postpaid account is on hold” then these can be the possible reasons for it (note that we are not 100% sure about these reasons, we are just telling you the possibilities).
- There’s a buzz on forums and various news sites that a lawyer has raised a dispute in Delhi high court which says Paytm is infringing the online payments bank rules and regulations. So until they sort out the issues, the paytm postpaid will remain on hold.
- As per some users, only accounts with full KYC can use the postpaid. Those with no kyc or mini kyc will see ‘paytm postpaid on hold’ error.
- According to some users, if you have not paid the due amount on time then the account can go on hold.
