January 8th is the last day of two-year contracts on AT&T

It was only a matter of time. AT&T will finally be ditching two-year contracts come January 8th. Any new or existing customers will only be able to purchase a new phone by paying the full price right away or paying monthly installments over time.

This will also apply to all phones AT&T offers including flip phones, smartphones, and other types of phones AT&T carries. However, we are not sure at this time if larger corporate plans will also have to get rid of contracts too?

If you want a two-year contract with AT&T, you better hurry as January 8th will be here soon. Although, I am not sure why you’d want one.
