LG Zero smartphone with all-metal body announced with 5-inch display and 13MP camera



LG will commence the global rollout of its LG Zero smartphone, starting this week in Taiwan followed by other markets in Asia, Europe and Latin America. First introduced to Korean customers in September, the LG Zero offers a full metal body and includes the ‘Arc Glass’ design of the edges which creates a slimmer profile. It will be available in Silver and Gold colour variants. At the moment, no information has been provided regarding price, nor availability in India.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5-inch HD In-cell Touch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and 294ppo. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

The LG Zero runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and sports a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the device includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and microUSB respectively. A 2050mAh battery completes the package while the LG Zero weighs 147 grams.
