In line with the previous reports, Vivo has launched two new handsets – the X6 and the X6 Plus.
The Vivo X6 sports a 5.2-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixels of resolution. It is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android 5.1-based FunTouch OS. The internals include an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and coupled with 4GB RAM.
It also comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear snapper with phase detection auto focus sensor, 6P lens and f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The 32GB onboard storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB-OTG, GPS, FM radio and USB 2.0. Finally, a 2400mAh battery completes the package. The company has also launched the dual SIM Vivo X6 Plus with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED full-HD display, 64GB onboard storage and a 3000mAh. The device comes with a Yamaha Hi-Fi chip and an amp for improved audio output. The other specs are similar to the Vivo X6.
Both also come equipped with a fingerprint sensor that claims to unlock the screen within 0.4 seconds. It can also be used as a self-timer shutter button for taking selfies. They will come dipped in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold colours. The X6 starts at CNY 2,600 that translates to approximately Rs 27,000 and the X6 Plus at CNY 3,200 that is roughly Rs 33,000.
